Johann Georg Müller was German painter and graphic artist who was born in 1913 as the son of an industrial architect in Ludwigshafen. Taught by his father, an industrial architect, he started training in drawing, he learned constructive drawing and also took evening drawing classes at the Free Academy Mannheim. He was inspired by the works of Wilhelm Leibl and Hans Holbein which he later called crucial to his development as an artist.
