Marc Montméat is a French photographer. He was revealed at the Paris Photo show in 2009 and awarded the SFR Young Talent prize. He has won many awards since and he is regularly published in photo magazines.
His very personal urban landscapes are marked by the solitude of mankind. Combining a balanced composition together with emotions, Montméat, a sensitive artist, claims loud and clear his admiration for the masters of a humanist photography, following the path of Cartier-Bresson, Doisneau or Willy Roonis.
